Photography With Purpose

At Pam Long Photography, we’ve always believed photography can be about so much more than creating beautiful portraits.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with local families, small businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations to host fundraising events, awareness campaigns, portrait days, and community-centered initiatives supporting causes close to our hearts.

We’ve also donated portrait experiences to charitable auctions, giving organizations another way to raise funds for their work. Each one has been an opportunity to contribute what we do best to a cause that matters.

From organizations serving children and families, to flood recovery efforts, healthcare initiatives, local nonprofits, and community outreach programs, these events have brought people together through generosity, compassion, and connection.

What began as a way to give back through photography many years ago became something much bigger...an opportunity to use our gifts, our knowledge, our studio, and our relationships within the community to help people feel seen, supported, celebrated, and cared for.

These events represent some of the most meaningful moments in our studio’s history, and we are deeply grateful to every client, volunteer, business owner, sponsor, and organization who helped make them possible.

Because at the end of the day, this work has never only been about photographs.

It’s about people.
It’s about community.
And it’s about using what we’ve been given to help make a difference.

Forty Over 40: Celebrating Women, Supporting Women's Health

Fifty-three women stepped in front of my camera to celebrate who they are and the lives they’ve built. Together, our inaugural Forty Over 40 project raised $6,575 for women’s health through the Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center Foundation.
